“You have such big blue eyes!” I recall a stranger telling me once when I was in my late teens.

I recognized from a young age that my eyes were one of my most defining features. That’s why I’ve always made sure to follow a dedicated eye care regime.

Yet as the years passed, and the late nights of studies and parties took their toll, I began to recognize the signs of aging around my eyes.

Some of my friends have already started injecting themselves with anti-aging fillers, but it has it’s own side effects..

I started looking into natural anti-aging techniques to reduce fine lines, while minimizing dark circles and under eye bags.

One of my favourite methods I have come across are facial exercises as they are easy to practice at home, require very little skill and only take a couple of minutes to do in front of the mirror.

What I have found however is there are also many ‘pretenders’ out there and people wanting to make a quick buck from the anti-aging trend, without addressing the underlying issues.

Many facial exercise programs can help at first but over time, simply cause more sagging or wrinkles if not performed correctly. These methods don’t work with the facial muscles – they work against them and can even make sagging or wrinkles appear worse.

I was just about to give up hope, and reside myself to the idea that maybe face exercises were too good to be true. That’s when I came across facial exercises that use isometric contraction with resistance, to lift, tighten and tone sagging facial muscles.

These exercises promised that there was no need for scary procedures involving injections to plump or paralyze the facial features. Instead, isometric exercises can leave the face looking fresh, revitalized and youthful…at the touch of your fingers.

Reduce Crow’s Feet and Drooping Eyes – Without Surgery

As we age, crow’s feet appear around the side of the eyes – so-called because they resemble bird’s feet. They are often caused by changes in collagen and elastin in the skin, but can also emerge as we go through a hormonal shift.

Crow’s feet can benefit from a natural eyelift as the skin is raised and then lifted. This is also good for preventing the upper eyelid from drooping.

The program of isometric exercises that are excellent for giving the eyes a natural lift is known as Facial Magic. It involves a series of exercises, each only taking 35 seconds as part of your daily routine. Over a few short weeks the results improve and are visible for even longer periods of time.

“These exercises are easy to learn, easy to perform and the result is a natural facelift. Using your “age erasers” – your thumbs and fingers, you will be pleasantly surprised to witness the transformation of your face and neck in 9 to 12 weeks,” says Cynthia Rowland, creator of the Facial Magic program.

Excited to give it a go, I decided to find out the benefits of Facial Magic and how the isometric exercises could improve the appearance of my own eyes.

This exercise is just one of 18 proven facial exercises that have been shown to provide a natural facelift – without the use of surgery.

…and the results?

The brows appear lifted, the eyes appear fresher and there is less drooping and sagging in the eyes.

As Cynthia testifies, “My all-time favorite facial exercise has to be the upper eye exercise. Why? When I was 40, my left eyelid began sitting on my eyelash. That hooded eye made me look tired and my face looked lopsided. Learning how to stop that was such a relief because I knew I wouldn’t ever need to have surgery on my eyelids.”

Even if you don’t have many years on the clock, it’s possible to use these easy facial exercise techniques to firm, tighten and tone the elasticity of the skin, reducing crow’s feet and hooded eyes before they have a chance to develop.

The future of facial exercises looks promising and Cynthia’s program is leading the way in showing how to target specific areas. The result is a fresh face with lifted, tight and youthful youthful contours.

Personally, I’m excited to see how easy following these facial exercises can be. Why put your face at risk from expensive cosmetic surgery when with a little practice, you can achieve an all-natural eyelift at home.

Learning about this technique certainly takes away the pressure and stress of worrying about the aging process. Now I simply need to look my friends and family in their eyes, and tell them about this method, so they can see the benefits for themselves.
