“You have such big blue eyes!” I recall a stranger telling me once when I was in my late teens.
I recognized from a young age that my eyes were one of my most defining features. That’s why I’ve always made sure to follow a dedicated eye care regime.
Yet as the years passed, and the late nights of studies and parties took their toll, I began to recognize the signs of aging around my eyes.
Some of my friends have already started injecting themselves with anti-aging fillers, but it has it’s own side effects..
I started looking into natural anti-aging techniques to reduce fine lines, while minimizing dark circles and under eye bags.
One of my favourite methods I have come across are facial exercises as they are easy to practice at home, require very little skill and only take a couple of minutes to do in front of the mirror.

Many facial exercise programs can help at first but over time, simply cause more sagging or wrinkles if not performed correctly. These methods don’t work with the facial muscles – they work against them and can even make sagging or wrinkles appear worse.
I was just about to give up hope, and reside myself to the idea that maybe face exercises were too good to be true. That’s when I came across facial exercises that use isometric contraction with resistance, to lift, tighten and tone sagging facial muscles.

Reduce Crow’s Feet and Drooping Eyes – Without Surgery
As we age, crow’s feet appear around the side of the eyes – so-called because they resemble bird’s feet. They are often caused by changes in collagen and elastin in the skin, but can also emerge as we go through a hormonal shift.
Crow’s feet can benefit from a natural eyelift as the skin is raised and then lifted. This is also good for preventing the upper eyelid from drooping.

How To Give Yourself a Natural Eye Lift
Why not prove it to yourself by learning and practicing this simple and natural eyelift technique. It takes less than 5 minutes!
- Relax your eyebrow area and then place the three middle fingers of each hand directly under your eyebrows.
- Drop the palms of your hands flat against your face.
- With the pads of your fingertips directly under your eyebrows, push your eyebrows upwards and slightly outwards.
4. Hold your eyebrows in this position with your eyes open.
5. Slowly push your eyebrows down against your fingertips while holding your eyebrows high, and hold the contraction for 5 seconds.
6. Remove your hands from your face.
7. Breathe in deeply through your nose, and exhale through your nose.
8. Repeat the exercise. This time hold the contraction for 10 seconds. At the seventh second, close your eyes, keeping your eyebrows held high.contours.
9. Remove your hands from your face. Breathe in deeply through your nose, and exhale through your nose.
10. Begin again, holding the contraction for 10 seconds and closing your eyes at the seventh second.
11. Repeat the movement again so that you have exercised for a total of 35 seconds.
Note: Wearing white gloves is recommended as part of the Facial Magic program for best results.
This exercise is just one of 18 proven facial exercises that have been shown to provide a natural facelift – without the use of surgery.
…and the results?
The brows appear lifted, the eyes appear fresher and there is less drooping and sagging in the eyes.
